the Purpose
Neutron Dawn is a spin off the first blog Josh Williams started writing, called Nothing Is Real. At some point in mid July, the build up of technology posts was so extreme in NIR that he opted to start a second blog, and thus, Neutron Dawn was born.
Much of what you’ll find here as a reader pertains to Apple Computers, but you should also be able to find general information about mobile technology, computing in general, phones, software, graphic and video design, sound, applications, hardware and software reviews and opinions, and general information about anything that Josh might use. From time to time there will (hopefully) be coverage of Apple product releases (already Josh has liveblogged about the iPhone 3G and Firmware 2.0 release) and perhaps other unforseen items.
Neutron Dawn itself is meant to reflect the idea that technology is entering into a new age of smaller, omnipresent equipment, similar to Neutrons themselves-always there, always useful, but rarely seen-when it is, though, it’ll blow your socks off. Josh is a big fan of the Apple mobile OS as well as the idea of putting the Internet-and everything else-in your pocket, which is why you’ll see a lot of posts about the Apple App Store, the iPod Touch, iPhone, his MacBook Pro, various Apple OS comments, reviews of system enhancing applications for both, and general communcations, especially as they are applied to enhancing the onset of this new age.
